Kimberly Pullin was in a car accident on October 25, 2013.The driver hit her from behind. He was going at a high rate of speed of 70mph in a Dodge Ram 1500 pick up truck. Kim was in her Lexus RX 300, sitting still in on a ramp, trying to exit to the highway Interstate highway 75 in Dallas, Texas.

The driver of the truck was charged with not having insurance, nor driver license and failure to control speed. The driver only spent nine days in jail for the near fatal accident.

Kim survived the accident by the blessing and grace of “GOD”.  She was left with a C5 and C6 broken vertebra, bruised spinal cord and brain injury. Kim has spent well over five months in several different hospitals and in rehabilitations facilities. She has been diagnosed as a being a quadriplegic for NOW. She is able to moderately move her arms and fingers on the left side but very little on the right side.

Due to new therapies for spinal cord injuries, insurance companies will not pay for different therapy and rehabilitation programs. Kimberly is currently going to REACT, which is a spinal cord therapy and rehabilitation program, which is awesome for Kim. However, this not supported by the insurance company consequently costing more than $1,800.00 each month  ($21,600/ year).
