Blake Rice Medical Fund

My dear friend Matt Rice is a single parent of a very special teenager named Blake. Blake is on the Autism spectrum, but more even more of a challenge for both of them is the fact that he suffers from a siezure disorder.

Matt is a school teacher, so of course, we as a society pay him a fraction of what he so richly deserves. He has a hard time absorbing unexpected expenses, like having to pay for Blake's medication out of pocket due to having his COBRA benefits mistakenly cancelled by the new school district for which he will be teaching this fall.

It will all get straightened out eventually, but not before Matt will be hit with a bill for $3,000 for August's meds. He has no way to pay this, and Blake's life literally is at stake. 

I am asking those of you who are friends of Matt who are also my FB friends to contribute to defray the cost of this month's meds, but most importantly, forward this on to all your Norwalk (Ohio) peeps so they can contribute as well. We are also grateful for $$ from people who don't know Matt and Blake, but just want to help these amazing people.
