Love for Art & Gail ***UPDATED***
UPDATE: Art passed away on Monday night, surrounded by his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. His dedication and service to his wife, his country, and the people he supported through his work will forever be remembered.
Gail can still use our support, especially financially with medical and household bills. Anything you can give will help Gail so much throughout this difficult time.
Art and Gail Scott are caring, wonderful, compassionate people who have dedicated such a large portion of their lives to helping those with less advantage. Gail has been a caregiver since 1988. Art is veteran, having served at least 2 tours in Iraq and 15 years of service to his Country. He has been a caregiver for over 10 years, working with individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. He took great pride in his work and was a phenomenal caregiver.
Art was recently diagnosed with severe Emphysema, Advanced COPD, and Interstitial Lung Disease. He is currently hospitalized.
We would love for all who know and love them to join us in helping to support them through this difficult time. While Art is in the hospital, Gail is staying by his side. Because she is unable to work while she is with him, all funds donated will go to helping pay their living expenses.
They have both spent so much time putting the needs of those they cared for above their own, it is time we give back to them. While we can never repay them for everything they have given to others, we hope the amount we raise for them will help them through this most difficult time.
We know that they have so many people who love and want to support them and we are so grateful for any amount you can give to these two amazing individuals.
