The past few years have tested Susan in ways she never imagined. She's faced the heartbreaking loss of her nephew and endured two unexpected job layoffs. Each challenge has pushed her to lean deeper into her faith, trusting that God would guide her through.

Earlier this year, she surrendered everything to Him, asking for direction. And then, just four weeks ago, something unexpected happened—she was bitten by a snake while trimming a rosemary bush. What felt like a terrifying accident for her, turned out to be divine intervention. After multiple ER visits and feeling like she was slipping away, doctors discovered she has early-stages of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML).

Hearing the word “cancer” is never easy. It’s a heavy truth to carry. Alongside the leukemia diagnosis, she is also dealing with severe iron deficiency requiring infusions, and newly discovered heart issues that must be addressed before she can begin treatment.

The medication she needs costs $3,800 per month, and she is currently unable to work due to her health. She's doing everything she can to stay strong, leaning on faith, family, and friends—but she needs help.
