Maile & Mateo Compete in Dublin
Donation protected
Maile and Mateo Nacu were invited to compete with the Amateur Athletic Union (“AAU”) US Karate Team in the WUKF World Tournament in Dublin, Ireland on June 15-19, 2016. I am especially excited as I have also been invited to compete. This is a fantastic opportunity to expose my kids to high level international competition. We are seeking corporate or private donations to help with the costs involved for Maile and Mateo. The total cost for each athlete is $3,900.00.
Maile

Maile has been training at Enso Shotokan Karate (“Enso”) in Chicago, IL since the age of 3. She has been successful in all aspects of the dojo, from demos and tournaments to assisting in classes at multiple locations and afterschool programs. Maile has developed into not only a quality karate student, but an exceptional academic student at the University of Chicago Laboratory School. When she is not training for Karate, she excels in Math, Science, Reading and French. In addition, she is gifted in the arts and plays the violin.

In 2013 she challenged herself in larger tournaments and competed with the AAU in all four tournaments including Districts, Regionals, Nationals and Junior Olympics.
