Roberto "BETO" Jimenez 11.28.61 ~ 8.14.21
Roberto Jimenez or “Tio Beto” as he was commonly referred as, unexpectedly passed away on August 14, 2021 (due to an aneurysm). My uncle Beto is my dad's twin brother.
On July 28th he was found unresponsive and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. We were told he had a massive brain bleed and all we could do was wait to see if he recovered on his own.
For two weeks, Tio Beto remained in very critical condition and then we were told that he would not come back from the trauma that his brain suffered. Tio Beto succumbed to the brain bleed this past Saturday, August 14 in the late night hours.
Tio Beto always had a smile on his face or laughing no matter what was going on in his life, he was always happy with a smile on his face. He was a kind and open minded person. He loved to play with his nieces and nephews.
He loved art, he was a very talented artist and he loved music. He would walk or bike the streets of Pasadena and Altadena with a speaker to listen to his favorite songs by Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Doors and many more. My uncle was a free spirit and moved to his own rhythm.
Although Tio Beto left much earlier than we would like, he will always be with us.
This is a hard time for our entire family as we never imagined that we would be laying him to rest so soon.
This was very unexpected for our family.
During this time, We the Jimenez family are kindly asking for any support, donations and/or prayers that you are able to provide. There is no amount too small, any contribution is very much appreciated and will assist in relieving our financial worries. All of the donations will be used towards his medical and funeral expenses.
We thank you in advance for your support.
