Help Manuel Get a Working Wheelchair.
Hi, my name is Tilly, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dad, Manuel Martinez, a 76-year-old retired farm labor worker and loving father. He is currently battling stage 3 liver cancer and undergoing both chemotherapy and radiation. Despite treatment, the masses on his liver have recently started to grow, making this journey even harder for him.
My dad spent his life working in the fields to provide an honest living. He enjoys gardening, growing his own crops, feeding stray cats, and tending to his chickens. He’s always been strong, hardworking, and very independent. But cancer has taken a toll on his body—and even though I’m his only caregiver, I can’t always be there with him.
When he’s alone, he depends on an electric wheelchair to get around, but the one he currently has is no longer working properly. Insurance won’t cover a new one, and he simply can’t afford one on his fixed income, as he’s already struggling to keep up with his basic bills and medical needs.
We’re raising funds to help:
• Buy a safe, reliable electric wheelchair
• Support his uncovered medical costs
• Help with caregiving and transportation expenses
Any amount helps, and even just sharing this with others means the world to us. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for offering your support, prayers, and love.
With deep gratitude,
Tilly
