Hi my name is janeane and im fundraising for my best friend debs.

Life can take unexpected turns & sometimes those turns lead to unimaginable challenges & this is what happened for a very close friend of mine Debs (debbie) as she has been recently diagnosed with Bulbar Motor Neurone Disease.

Unfortunately there is no cure for this disease & it is terminal. Due to nature of this disease we are not sure as to how long Debs has got left as her diagnosis has taken 18 months in total & she is gradually losing her ability to function normally.

I hate to do this as times are hard for everyone, but Debs husband Mark is having to give up work, so can look after debs full time & unfortunately there is no life insurance.

So this post is all about raising funds so when the time comes Mark can give her the send off she deserves & he doesn't have this additional worry on top of his unmanageable pain of losing her.
