Emergency blood transfusion for Louise (the dog).

This is a fundraiser for one of my best friends Kate Gillespie and her 4 year old dog, Louise. When giving Louise a bath, Kate discovered bad bruising all over her. Louise was taken to the vet where she was diagnosed with Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia (IMT). Her platelet levels are now too low to count, and her only chance at recovery will be blood transfusions of platelet rich plasma. The cost of one transfusion is $5000. There will also be multiple vet appointments and tests in the future if the transfusions are successful. Without the blood transfusion it will be unlikely that Louise will be able to continue living her sweet full life which consists sleeping in, looking out the window from her huge bed, going on walks, getting pup cups at Edgy coffee, and playing at the beach in Toronto. Truly any amount will help, she is the sweetest little doggy and has so much more life to live.
