Hi!! I’m Eran Davis. My first born, Robin, who was 23 at the time, suffered an anoxic brain injury after cardiac arrest on January 7th, 2020. This was the result of an accidental overdose. He was in the hospital from January- June and I brought him home to care for him after that. NO ONE thought he would survive but I knew the minute I saw him he would live and he would recover, he’s resilient, he’s beat every single statistic there is. He’s breathing on his own, starting to move his arms, he understands us but is unable to respond. Insurance discontinued therapy bc that’s just what insurance does. As long as Robin is fighting, I won’t stop fighting for him. What I’ve learned is that insurance is the bare minimum, they provide what will barely keep him alive and I’ve had to FIGHT for every bit of that but when it comes to recovery, it’s up to me. miss him more than I can express and will stay persistent working towards recovery until he’s better. The machine I’m dead set on is the Quadriciser, it’s passive assist and will “reteach” his brain to work with his body by providing consistent repetitive movements for all extremities, my bonus room is now a hospital/ therapy room and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I hate how we got here but I love caring for my son. I’m determined to find a way to raise the funds to get this machine for Robin.
