Hi, I'm Christopher Gonzalez. I am a Life Scout for Troop 97 in New City, NY. I am working towards achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Over the past 12 years of my scouting journey, I have been extremely active in my troop, spending countless nights camping, learning outdoor skills, teaching younger scouts, and many hours helping with other service projects like mine.

For my Eagle project, I will be building four bat houses at Kennedy Dells Park in New City, NY. These bat houses will help boost the local bat populations, which has many benefits for the environment. Bats help to control insect populations while also pollinating local plants. I will also be creating two informational signs for passersby to read and learn about how important bats truly are.

I will be leading a team of scouts and adults to help me with these tasks, but you can help too! Your donation will go directly to the cost of the materials and supplies necessary to carry out this project. By contributing, you will directly help the local ecosystem and wildlife.
