ACL Surgery

Hi Everyone ,

I received the dreaded news on Monday 7th April that I have ruptured my left ACL. After a long stint on the sidelines before with a similar injury I find myself in the same position again , but this time worse.

I had recently made my return and found myself gradually becoming the player I was before my previous injury. It’s gutting that i now find myself facing another set back and require ACL reconstruction surgery and potential meniscus as well. As many people are aware the waiting time for this operation through the NHS is 1.5-2 years. I have chosen to go down the private route , However the costs of this procedure is rather expensive.

I have played at Millwall since I was 14 years old , coming through the academy set up and making my 1st team debut at 16. There’s nothing i want more than to be putting my boots back on and getting on the pitch doing the thing i love most. Being only 22, having this operation will also prevent any other health issues with my knee later on in life.

I would appreciate any contributions towards this operation , all donations will be used towards the cost of operation and post surgery rehab. I will also be out of work for a couple of weeks without pay so any donations would be great !
