As a rescue, we experience some exhilarating highs and some devastating lows, but nothing could have prepared us for the heartbreak of our current situation.
We have had 8 little puppies from Kentucky diagnosed with Parvo, a highly contagious and often deadly disease that strikes puppies without warning.
We felt as if our hearts were torn in two yesterday when little Trinity, the sickest of the pups succumbed to the disease. Three of the puppies are too sick to travel and they are in a New York State hospital on IV fluids, two more are with a foster and are receiving sub q fluids and around the clock medication.
If that wasn't enough, 3 additional puppies who we just rescued have been diagnosed with the same disease. As a rescue we are fighting for their lives with every means at our disposal.
We won't give up on these little souls, not for a moment, not while there is any hope of recovery.
Treatment is expensive and we need your help, we can't do this on our own. The expected cost for each puppy is $1000 - $1,500, so treating our puppies will cost us between $9,000 - $15,000
