Hey everyone,

For those of you that know Nate, you know that he loves adventure and lives an active lifestyle. From biking to snowboarding to hiking, you can always find him in the Tahoe mountains enjoying nature. Recently while paragliding at Mt. Rose, Nate had a crash landing into the side of the mountain. We are very fortunate he survived, but his injuries have left him paralyzed from the waist down.

After two extensive back surgeries to stabilize his spine, Nate is on the road to recovery and will soon transfer from the ICU in Reno to a top spinal rehab facility in Denver. Then Nate will begin the next steps of living an adjusted lifestyle with new methods of mobility.

Nate has a long road ahead to learn how to navigate daily life and eventually work towards returning to the activities he loves with new technology and equipment. We set up this page so friends and family can help support Nate on this journey.

We appreciate the tremendous support Nate has already received. He has a great community around him and has a bright and active future ahead. He will see you back out in nature soon!
