Hi everyone,

My husband has a sweet kitty Oliver who is just about a year and a half. He was recently diagnosed with cerebellar hypoplasia, or what you might know as wobbly kitty syndrome. This is a neurological condition where the cerebellum—the part of the brain that controls coordination and balance—doesn't develop fully. This results in a kitten that is uncoordinated, may wobble, or have head tremors.

Within the last week, Oliver has started to have what seems to be seizures. We’ve consulted multiple vets and they’ve both said that this is what it seems to be, and that it could be potentially life threatening. The next steps are more check ups, bloodwork, potential medications and who knows what else. We don’t know how much all of this is going to come to, but we do know that vet bills are absolutely ridiculous. If anyone is able to contribute in any way whatsoever, every little bit helps. With that being said, we know it’s holiday time and funds are tight for everyone right now.

This cat means absolutely everything to my husband. We’ve lost our other two cats within the last two and a half years and he was absolutely broken, and Oliver is what helped him get through that. He’s the most loving, gentle, cuddly little ever, and we’re trying our hardest to do absolutely everything we can for the little guy.
