Dear Friends From Everywhere......
I have been asked to do a very important and difficult post here this morning.
 Normally I am never at a loss for words, but this is not easy to do. It is very IMPORTANT and I ask that you please take the time to read it if you know me at all. And, you are welcome to share with anyone you think would be interested. This has been sudden in many ways. Those who know me are aware I have battled a somewhat rare neurological disease for the past few years. It has slowly stolen my quality of life and been a struggle. Likewise, I have had problems with pneumonia and other lung issues. During this past 3 months, I have been in the hospital with breathing issues and fluid building on my right lung. Fluid has been tapped off by inserting a needle and tube through my back into my lung.
Extensive scans were done to determine the cause on Monday, June 24. My doctor hit me with a dose of reality....I would want nothing less. I was told that I am completely riddled with bone cancer through my pelvis and spine. Further, nothing can be done for my lung and the fluid is overtaking my chest cavity. I have lost so much weight and am so weak that any sort of surgery is out of the question and my condition is so advanced that treatment is not an option. I am at end of life. At the very best, the doctor estimates I have a matter of "days or maybe weeks" left to live. I came home yesterday from the hospital to prepare for this last voyage of my life. It was a hectic day, as I have opted for Hospice care and to die in peace in my home with those who care around me...and my cats that I so love. I just want to say I am good and at peace with all. I have made many mistakes in life because I am human, but I hope I have learned much from this journey. In my spirituality, I see this as the end of one journey and the beginning of another. I will likely not be posting much here, nor responding but know that I appreciate you all and love you. My dear caregiver and significant other, Heather Hult will be responding to questions. She and I will be married here in the home today to help secure her journey ahead. She has been the most wonderful caregiver and partner one could ever hope to find. I consider myself spiritual and not religious, but respect all systems of belief. Your prayers, healing energy or whatever path you choose are most welcome and appreciated. Thanking each and every one of you for your part in sharing this universal journey with me. I will try to make a small post here as energy and emotion permits. I love you all.
