Days Of My Life: 4.5 Years of Days
Hello world! My name is Liam and I am a very big fan of the hit television series Days of Our Lives. I'm pretty sure I saw the beginning of it when I was a kid and then I watched it in the waiting room of a Triple A auto repair center like almost two years ago and I thought it was pretty cool especially the part about the diamond and also that there was a character who has the same name as me Liam. That's right you guessed it, it's Liam! I think he was a bad guy but I'm not I promise.
This whole idea actually started from talking about my girlfriend's grandma's feet because I broke my toe in 6th grade when I kicked a block of ice and she said that her grandma's toes actually all kind of looked like that when she would prop them up and watch that soap opera with the sand timers at the beginning.
Anyway, I digress.
I did the math (sort of) and if I watch Days of Our Lives for 8 hours a day for the next 4.5 years, I can watch every episode since the show began in 1965. I have decided to dedicate the next 4.5 years of my life to this endeavour, but I can't do it alone.
This will essentially be my full time job and only source of income. That is where you, my friends, come in. While I am experiencing the full breadth of the hit television series Days of Our Lives, I will live tweet regularly and produce a webcast so you can all enjoy the program along with me. I would also like to write a memoir about the experience some day and maybe even have a movie made about my life with Brendan Fraser starring as me Liam because a weird amount of people have told me I look a lot like him. I really like that movie The Mummy and Blast From the Past also, so I am not offended when people say this even though I know Brendan Fraser has been getting a lot of flack on the internet lately. Call me, Brendan! Call it performance art, call it research, call it what you will. Your donations will make you patrons of the arts and who doesn't want to be one of those!
I would like to get started on this project as soon as possible so the sooner I get my funding the sooner I can quit my day job, quit school, and start enjoying my one true passion.
If this heroic feat gets funded I will be the happiest boy in the whole USA and I will sing songs of praise to all of the internet that made my life's work possible.
