Hello, my name is Carmen Hernandez and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my son Miguel and daughter-in-law Ada Hernandez, who are parents of two toddlers, Mason and Sadie (4 and 1). On 1/8/25, they tragically lost their home and belongings to the Eaton Fire and walked out with only the clothes on their back, along with 4 diapers and a change of clothes for their babies. They lived in a Duplex in Altadena with my other son Ricky Hernandez and he lost everything as well, including work tools and his work truck.

They bought this home in 2018 and received the keys to the house the day their firstborn tragically passed away. As you can see, this home was very special to them, as they felt that their baby boy had left it to them on the day of his passing.

It has been a living nightmare and they really don’t know how to start from here on out. We are just seeking support to cover unexpected costs and help with initial rent needs. If you find it in your heart to help, we would greatly appreciate it. God bless you!
