In rural Cambodia, hundreds of children are eager to learn but struggle without the basic supplies they need for school. Many classrooms lack books, pencils, teaching materials, and backpacks making it difficult for teachers to give their students the education they deserve. Despite these challenges, nearly 600 students across three schools show up every day with hope for a brighter future.

The KHK Foundation was created in 2012 by Anthony Sou after he saw the hardships families faced during a visit to Cambodia. With the support of generous donors, the foundation built three schools, along with wells and shelters, to provide children and their communities with opportunities they never had before. These schools served Pre-K through 6th grade and became a safe space for learning, growth, and possibility.

Unfortunately, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the schools were forced to close for over two years, and the foundation’s work was put on hold. In 2024, Anthony returned to Cambodia and helped reopen the schools, purchasing supplies out of his own pocket so that the children could return to learning. While the schools are open again, the needs are now greater than ever.

This fundraiser will help provide the essentials—school supplies, teacher resources, and classroom support—to keep these schools thriving. Together, we can continue to build a foundation of education, hope, and opportunity for children in rural Cambodia who deserve every chance at a better future. Anthony will be going back to Cambodia in the beginning of December to deliver all of the supplies!
