Hello friends and family! My name is Haley and I am a third year dental student at Creighton. This summer, I am thrilled to be attending the Creighton Institute for Latin American Concern (ILAC) Summer Health Program. Through this immersive program, Creighton students from multiple disciplines will spend three weeks in rural communities of the Dominican Republic, providing health care to residents in small communities, while living alongside them, being immersed in the culture, and being a part of the family. This program focuses on building relationships defying cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic barriers. My personal mission will be focused on relieving dental pain, prevention education, and restoring smiles, but this is a trip to treat the whole person. I am asking for donations to fund my flight to the Dominican, supplies for our dental clinic, and fees associated with room and board, etc.
This opportunity will deeply impact my dental education and more importantly provide much needed dental care to underserved communities in the Dominican Republic. Any donation or share of this link is deeply appreciated. This would not be possible without your generosity, and I would like to thank you in advance for your consideration in donating!
