Amber’s Journey
Donation protected

We are raising money for my niece Amber Brinson.
For those who don’t know, Amber, a 20 year-old scholar-athlete at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson, MS, was involved in a motor vehicle accident in August 2019. Amber was a passenger in a truck that flipped off a 50ft bridge in Louisiana. It is only by God’s grace that she survived.
Amber had multiple injuries to her face and ribs, but, most importantly, her back was broken in the impact, severely damaging her spinal cord. As a result of the injuries, she has limited movement below her waist.
She has been going to therapy 2-3 times a week since August, but therapy can only do so much with spinal cord injuries.
Her family would like to do stem cells treatment for her spinal cord injury. The stem cells are gathered from umbilical cord tissue. Stem cell therapy has proven effective in some other cases, and it may be Amber’s best chance to walk again. The procedure costs around $40,000.
With COVID-19 going around, we are not able to do a big fundraiser like we had planned. Also, due to the virus, we understand that money is tight. If you are able to donate, please do. Every single dollar helps. If you cannot donate, please share this with your friends and family and just keep Amber and her family in your prayers. They will be grateful for anything you can do to help Amber in any way.
Thank you❤️
