Medical Expenses for Coach Hit in face by 85mph FB
On November 5th, Adidas A’s Coach Harrison Leon was hit in the face by a mid 80’s Fastball in a men’s league baseball game. He was taken to the hospital, where he was eventually diagnosed with a broken cheek bone, broken orbital bone, a broken nose, and a concussion.
Unfortunately, it seems that Harrison will have to pay out of pocket for well over $10,000 dollars in medical expenses as a result of the accident.
We are hoping that our fundraising can cover a significant portion of these expenses.
Harrison graduated from Harris Stowe this past year, playing collegiately for the Hornets during the 2018 season. He served as the head coach for the Adidas A’s 16u Navy team this past Summer. He also coaches at Rockwood Summit High School, and was a varsity assistant before Covid ended the 2020 spring season. He plans on attending Law School at St. Louis University in 2021.
