Thank you everyone for reaching out to the Diaz’s and for all of your loving support and prayers. Dino Diaz and their daughter Kristen are home recovering and currently on oxygen. Below is the information prior to August 29th.
The Diaz family from Delano, CA are going through a very devastating and difficult time with three family members currently hospitalized with Covid since the beginning of this month of August. All members of three generations, in each household, was infected.
In the past recent weeks, Darlene Diaz (wife of Dino), started feeling ill and tested positive for Covid. Within days, Darlene’s health started to decline and she was rushed to the Delano hospital, and since, has been hospitalized with Covid-pneumonia. With a week of treatment for extremely low oxygen, Darlene is now fighting for her life on a ventilator in ICU.
In addition, her loving and hardworking husband of 41 years Dino Diaz has been hospitalized for low oxygen, as well as their eldest daughter Kristen (in a separate household and mother of 4 children) is also hospitalized with Covid-Pneumonia.
Reyna, their youngest daughter is due any day and overwhelmed taking caure of herself and her family of 5 that is also infected.
The Diaz’s are known as a very close family with tremendous LOVE and FAITH in their hearts. Family is their everyday joy with their soon-to-be 9 grandchildren between their 3 adult children — Kristen, Joseph and Reyna.
With that said, the Diaz family has never asked for any help as they are very humble.
As extended family and friends, we know we need to pull together with prayer and action to give them as much help as possible so that hardship of finances will be their least worry during this very difficult time. We are trying to reach a goal of 12,000 If you’d like to contribute, we appreciate any donation made. Thank you and God Bless. Organized by Vanessa Hsieh and Tammy Rosario.
