Yeet the Teet (Top Surgery)

Hi, my name Cai-Parker and I'm a trans man (I know, plot twist). Unfortunately, my genetics gave me huge knockers that impede the quality of my everyday life. As a trans man, my chest creates intense gender dysphoria. Gender dysphoria is the disconnect between the physical body and gender identity. Gender dysphoria can cause severe depression and anxiety. Binding has been the only solution to the dysphoria I experience, something common for many transgender people.

For those who don't know, binding is a tight fabric that compresses your chest, but it only can do so much for a chest my size. Unfortunately, binding is only a temporary fix as it can have negative long-term effects. It is recommended to bind only for 8 hours a day and no more than five days a week. With a chest my size, even binding for a few hours a day causes a lot of discomfort, including nerve numbness and shortness of breath. Long-term binding can cause permanent nerve damage as well as breast tissue damage.

This makes it very difficult to leave the house, work a full-time job, see friends, have any outside physical activity and live a full life. To get rid of the dreaded binder, I need top surgery! Our government does offer coverage for top surgery, but unfortunately, trans health care has been cut (again), and one of the Alberta top surgeons has stepped away. I can't even fathom waiting for this life-saving surgery for another 2-3 years, which is what most transgender folks are looking at.

With your help, I can chop off these bad boys and live a fulfilling life (and move out of my mom's house, Iove ya mom lol). I'll be able to work out at a gym again; I'll be able to go hiking with friends, go out to dinner with my girlfriend and hang out with friends. I won't have to plan my life around binding. I'll be able to live. 10,000 is a lofty goal, but I have full confidence that I'll make it, and with your help, it'll be that much easier.
