Hi.. I’m setting up this page on behalf of my neighbour Jess and her young son… yesterday morning my neighbour found herself in a horrific situation, that is every parents worst nightmare. Her house caught fire with her young son trapped inside. The fire started in the living room whilst Jess was in the kitchen the fire took hold quickly which blocked all access to the stairs, Jess managed to get out via the back door. This allowed her to alert neighbours and myself who were able to contact 999. Jess and ourselves tried desperately to gain access to the property but the thick smoke and flames were too much.. thankfully the fire service arrived as soon as we managed to kick the front door in, and were very quick to rescue the young boy from his bedroom and administer crucial first aid that saved his life.

Jess and her 4year old son (who’s birthday is in a few weeks time) have lost absolutely everything, their clothes, furniture, toys etc they literally only have the pjs they had on their back at the time of the fire and just weeks after Christmas..

I know times are hard for everyone at the minute but any donation how big or small is greatly received and appreciated.
