Hello! My name is Anhelina Hetsii, and I am reaching out with hope and a request for help. Our family is in a very difficult situation.
Four months ago, our eldest daughter Kira (10 years old) was diagnosed with a brain tumor — astrocytoma grade IV. She is very brave, and every day we see her fighting with courage. I had to leave my job to care for her full-time.
So far, Kira has already had three surgeries, but there is still a long road ahead. We live in Canada and have health insurance that covers many essential medical services. However, there are expenses that insurance does not cover — housing, food, clothing, transportation for medical appointments, and other daily needs.
We came from Ukraine three years ago and do not have significant savings. Right now, things are especially hard: rent, groceries, and basic family needs are weighing heavily on us.
Our resources are nearly exhausted, and credit limits are almost at zero. That’s why we are asking for help from those who can and who have a kind heart.
Every donation matters — even a small one will help ease some of our expenses and give us a little breathing room. It would mean so much if you could also share our story — spreading the word helps as much as donating.
If you like, I can show photos, receipts, or medical documents — we want to be open and honest about our situation.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading this message and for any help you can give.
With gratitude,
The Hetsii Family
