Hot water heater

Hi, we are the Allsop family. We are in the final year of a bankruptcy and our plumbing is having issues. We have been told we need a new hot water heater, along with new pressure valves and other parts I don’t fully understand, apparently the glass casing is cracked and many parts are outdated. We cannot get financing while in bankruptcy and our adult son tried and was denied. We just don’t have the $5200 needed to get a new water heater. We appreciate any help and wish we had another way.
