Chevy Burdette Home and healing

Donation protected

Update: Chevy is now home however we have a long road to go. I am asking all of you to look at what is going on with this family and try to help if you can. Many things need to be bought and bills have to be paid, along with changes to home, to life, to daily living, both for him and his family. Many days of not being at work and home bills are due, more surgery to come, to medical equitment, alturations to home, and new cloths to fit over casts. Today we have a total of 25 broken bones in this 8 year old body, but it does not hold him back. He is a fighter and he is ready for life to be normal, however it will be months before anything is normal for him. He has a cast on one hand and has casts on both legs.  Trying to go to the bathroom and being moved from bed to chair to chair to bed is so painful and he takes it. The break in his pelvis can not be opperated on so much pain when being moved and not haivng a way to help him hurts me. Chevy and his family and friends have much to learn and change in our lives but this little boy wins you over everytime you see him. Not to mention his brother also was in the wreck and has to heal mentally and try to be strong. Please pass this on the family is really in a financial need.

Chevy is fighting for his life as well as keeping his legs and feet. Chevy age 9 was involved in a semi vs two busses that collided in Grand Ridge Florida. The family is in need of help funds to help to make the home wheel chair friendly, medical bills, travel expences, and so much more. This lil guy is so amazing my nephew is a hero in my eyes. He still cracking jokes threw the pain. He is the most loving child you could ever meet. He was trapped in the bus and had to be cut from the recage, during this he asked for drugs for pain and for the rescue workers not to ruin his new shoes. He is a strong child. Please find it in your heart to help the family. Scott and Denise Harrell are in desperate need of this community coming together to help their family. He has already had one surgery and as I am posting this is in another, he has several to go and a long road to recovery. At this point we are hoping to keep the feet and legs but more importantly his life. His father just posted: Just giving everybody an update on Chevy again last night his foot swelled pretty large he was supposed to go to surgery this morning to be worked on the plans changed now they're going to have to go in and cut his foot and package so the swelling will go down they're going to take the rods out and put flexible Nails in so y'all pray for him from what I understand this is pretty painful every time the bandage has to be changed he has to be sedated and go to the ER because of the pain level thanks everyone for everything everybody has done so far I will keep y'all updated as soon as I know anything else. There is a link to the accidnt that all can see at http://www.wjhg.com/home/headlines/Bad-wreck-involving-semi-school-busses--in-Jackson-County-372230392.html?device=phone&c=y#.Vul7J1JVk-8.facebook

Chevy was trapped at the back of the bus. The donations will mean so much to the family and could be used as soon as possible. My nephew is full of life, funny, smart, kind, caring, and always puts others before himself. Lets learn from him and help others and donate to this family.
