Hi, my name is Steffany, I am Ron Logan's sister, and the picture above is my little brother and his family at a much happier time.
My brother is a proud man and would be mortified to know that I have decided to do a "GoFundMe" page. Dana, Teigan and Lily are Ronnie’s everything. He has always said to Dana "your job is to raise our kids..." For the last 10 years that is what Dana has done - raised my nieces. Ronnie works and brings home the money, Dana keeps the house running. Unfortunately, this means that they are a one income family. With the help of family, friends, strangers, and outside resources, we can take some financial stress off Dana's shoulders. In doing this, she will better be able to take care of Ronnie and the girls without a distraction.
On Tuesday 12/7/2021 the Logan Family dynamic was flipped upside down. My little brother was trying to get home to his family and decided to walk from Everett to Lake Stevens along the Highway 2 Trestle pedestrian walkway. Half a mile away from his home he was hit by a car going 45 MPH. He broke his neck, his pelvis, fractured his skull in four places, and his right tibia has been replaced with a titanium rod. He is very broken and has not woken up at this point. He is at Providence Hospital in Everett, WA in the ICU being taken care of by wonderful doctors and nurses. We are seeing improvements day by day and the doctors and neurologists are optimistic, but his recovery will be long and painful. Doctors say it may be a year before he will be able to work again, if ever!

Due to Covid protocol only one family member is allowed to visit Ronnie, our family has chosen Dana as a representative. We know that is what Ronnie would want. She has been going to the hospital as much as possible and we get to FaceTime with my little brother and see him. Even though he is not awake, I know hearing our voices is an important part of his recovery!
I am asking for help for my little brothers’ family. Help Dana stay in their home in Lake Stevens while she is taking care of my little brother, help Teigan and Lily have a Christmas to distract them even for a minute from worrying about their Dad, keep the phones working so that they can FaceTime their dad!
Any help is so much appreciated. Thank you all so much!
Love,
Steffany
