In Loving Memory of Jacob Chavez
Donation protected
Jacob Chavez, our first born left this Earth at only 11 years old on October 14, 2023. Jacob was loved by many and looked up to by his younger brother Jaxon.
He absolutely adored sea turtles and would always hit us with random facts about them at random times of the day. Our sweet boy battled a monstrous cancer that is not known to many for 6 months. When we found it, he was already stage
4. It is one of the leading silent killers in children and young adolescents and if not caught early…the prognosis is unfavorable. We do not know for how long this monster made our sons body its burrow but he did not get the chance to fight it for long. Jacob suffered immensely, he suffered a pain that no one , no child should ever experience.
We grieve his loss everyday. As his mother..I cry out for him…for his presence…for my son before the pain..before the unknown presented itself. As his mother I struggle to find the comfort I was told I should find in knowing he is no longer suffering. I will continue to try and find what it is Im told I will “in time”..but time—does not heal all wounds. We ask for donations today and each day this fundraiser runs to help pay for our sons headstone. His funeral was taken care of by his grandparents but the headstone that we have chosen is customized and will honor our dear boy beautifully. His memorial will honor him and give us a small bit of joy in his honor. Big or small.. no matter the donation it is much appreciated. We are holding a small fundraiser outside of this one in person to help with any differences there may be. Jacob had received an immense amount of love and support from his family and from his dad’s job and continues to receive it after his passing. We are so grateful for everyone’s help and support. If you have any questions or would like to donate privately please message me but that is our goal amount and we will not ask for nothing more.
Thank you again.
Any funds accrued that exceed our goal amount will be given back to one of our local foundations that has helped reach the goal amount.
