UPDATE..     1/14/20

Daddy went to heaven on 12/28/19.   He was a warrior in his quiet, gentle way.  He never stopped fighting for his life til the very end.  He will be terribly missed by us all.  As we keep trying to move forward we concentrate on mom.  While she is so strong and stoic, we know she is struggling losing the only companion she's ever known.  While we're doing everything we can for her, she is needing a hand with the medical bills that continue to come in.   Dad did not have life insurance to help with this.  If it is on your heart to help, I know mom would appreciate the help tremendously.  From our heart to yours THANK YOU ..

October 19, 2018 my dad was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Lukemia (AML) This was after a near fatal collapse, blood transfusions and blood platelets.  He was very ill by the time he was diagnosed.  He started Chemotherapy immediately.  He was hospitalized for 3 months.  The chemo cocktail worked very well, aside from the awful side effects that chemo has. Dad lost 50 pounds.  He was able to get home right before Christmas to continue his fight, gain some weight and strength.  While the diagnoses was difficult, he was a warrior.  Dad spent seven months continuing his treatment, driving to his treatment center several times a week.  On July 2, 2019 dad's bone marrow biopsy showed that he was cancer free. In remission!  He was blessed to spend the summer recovering, gaining strength, and weight.  He fished as much as he could.  Unfortunately, this week daddy found out that his cancer is back and so he FIGHTS again!

If you don't know, let me fill you in.  He was a dairy farmer, the hardest working man I've ever known. He has never had a time when he wasn't working. Until now.  He is proud.. but struggling.  He hasn't been able to work for a year now.  While he was handling his cancer you would find him looking for work, even while frail.  He is  now set to fight again.   I am asking that you consider donating to help my dad during this time.  This will help pay their rent and utilities, buy their groceries, and fuel for his travel to treatment.

Thank you for your consideration, my family loves and appreciates anything you can do.

Love. Be kind. Laugh. Appreciate the one's that love you.  Please don't take this life for granted.

CANCER SUCKS.

Much love,
