Help a Single Mom Rebuild After Betrayal

Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d be in this position, but I am reaching out for support during one of the most challenging times of my life. I am a single mother doing everything I can to provide for my children, but we have recently faced a devastating setback.

A close family member—someone I trusted deeply—betrayed me and took over my home daycare business, my only source of income. Not only did I lose my livelihood, but she also kept my clients, making it incredibly difficult to rebuild. Since then, I have been actively searching for a new job while also trying to restart my daycare, but I’ve had no luck so far.

I do receive some child support, but unfortunately, it’s not enough to cover even our basic bills. In the midst of this, I am also in ongoing custody litigation, adding even more emotional and financial strain to our situation. Right now, our most urgent need is covering rent and essential bills that are due very soon. My goal is to raise $4,000, but truly, anything helps. Every dollar brings us one step closer to stability and gives me the chance to get back on my feet.
