Help Bring Berea Jewels to Camp Brave

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We need your help to give an incredible group of children a chance to experience Camp Brave, a life-changing summer camp designed for children ages 4 to 9. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to cover the costs of sending our Berea Jewels Adventurer Club campers to this amazing camp, where they’ll learn to be brave, face challenges, and grow into confident young individuals.

About Us

Our club is filled with precious, unique children, just like jewels. We teach them values like being true, kind, respectful, and thoughtful, helping them build strong character. This year’s camp experience is especially important because it will give our kids the opportunity to stand up for themselves and build resilience—skills that will help them thrive, especially in the challenging GTA Downtown Toronto environment and society at large.

While we’ve faced challenges of our own—like not having a permanent space for our activities—we’ve always persevered. Now, we’re determined to make sure our children can attend Camp Brave. However, we need your support to make this dream a reality.

Here is an update on where we are now. Our little campers have also been collecting cans for Camp since the beginning of the year. The total cans we are looking to collect is 600,000. Whether you live in a condo/apartment or a house, you can participate as well. This will also help free up space in your recycling bin. Also, as we currently face a tariff war this will help our Aluminum sector as well. Thank you for your continued support to get these kids to camp Brave and support our brave Canadian industries at this time, even in this small way.

Update July 31, 2025

The Camp is now over and we didn't reach our ultimate Goal of $10,000. The children did go and had a wonderful time but during that time there was a storm that did damage our main tent that destroyed a number of poles and riped a few spots in both side walls.

We will leave our our GoFundMe open until the end of August to help continue to raise funds for us. Thanks so much for your continued support.
