Help Bring Berea Jewels to Camp Brave

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We need your help to give an incredible group of children a chance to experience Camp Brave, a life-changing summer camp designed for children ages 4 to 9. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to cover the costs of sending our Berea Jewels Adventurer Club campers to this amazing camp, where they’ll learn to be brave, face challenges, and grow into confident young individuals.

About Us

Our club is filled with precious, unique children, just like jewels. We teach them values like being true, kind, respectful, and thoughtful, helping them build strong character. This year’s camp experience is especially important because it will give our kids the opportunity to stand up for themselves and build resilience—skills that will help them thrive, especially in the challenging GTA Downtown Toronto environment and society at large.

While we’ve faced challenges of our own—like not having a permanent space for our activities—we’ve always persevered. Now, we’re determined to make sure our children can attend Camp Brave. However, we need your support to make this dream a reality.

We’re looking to raise $10,000, and we’re inviting you to support us through donations. Every dollar counts, and every donation brings us one step closer to sending these amazing kids to camp.

Vote for Who Gets Doused in Water!

We’ve added a fun twist to our fundraising campaign: Wet Weagbe vs. Soak Taevean As part of our fundraising efforts, Weagbe and Taevean(University students) are competing to see who will get soaked with water at the end of the campaign. Here’s how it works:

1. Donate on our GoFundMe page.

2. Vote for who you think should get drenched—Weagbe or Taevean—by leaving a comment with your choice.

3. Watch the hilarious videos of Weagbe and Taevean as they try to convince you why they shouldn’t be the one to get soaked!

The fun will continue until we hit our goal of $10,000. Once we reach it, the person with the most votes will face the ultimate challenge of getting drenched in water!

Here is an update on where we are now. Our little campers have also been collecting cans for Camp since the beginning of the year. The total cans we are looking to collect is 600,000 For every 500 cans they collect, they will get a vote for who they want to see get dunked in water. Weagbe or Taevean. Whether you live in a condo/apartment or a house, you can participate as well. This will also help free up space in your recycling bin. Also, as we currently face a tariff war this will help our Aluminum sector as well.
