My name is Juliette and I am fundraising for my sister and brother in law’s dog, Rhodey, who recently has become paralyzed on his entire right side of his body. Rhodey is a 5 year old miniature schaunzer dog who just had an fibrocartilaginous embolism (fce). This means that internally a small piece of his cartilage broke off and is blocking the blood flow to his nerves, leaving Rhodey paralyzed and unable to walk and do everyday puppy things. While there is no specific medical treatment, there is the chance of a partial recovery. In the meantime, we are looking to incorporate a form of dog therapy and purchase a dog 4 wheel wheelchair to help Rhodey learn to stabilize himself and hopefully walk again one day! We would be beyond grateful for any amount of a donation to help our little guy!
