Support Candy's Healing Journey

Hello, I'm reaching out on behalf of Candy—a beloved teacher and devoted mom. After recently battling ovarian cancer, Candy has recently undergone surgery that requires several weeks of recovery.

Out of respect for her privacy, I won’t share too many details, but I can say that she’s going to be fine, and is still trying to recover from lost income during treatment, and she learned that she doesn’t qualify for FMLA for the recovery period—about six weeks.

I’m hoping to raise funds to help ease the financial strain during this time, so Candy can focus on healing and being present for her five-year-old daughter. No one should have to fight for their health and their livelihood at the same time. Thank you for your support!
