Wednesday Feb 4th at 9:30 p.m. as Bernard Jeanty was heading home, he stopped to help a 61-year-old man whose vehicle was disabled on the shoulder of Route 15 north bound near Exit 31.
As he was assisting the owner of the disabled vehicle an oncoming car hit Bernard’s car. The force of the impact caused by collision resulted in the cars to veer off the road, hitting Bernard.
At this time, the family is asking for prayers and financial support. Bernard’s is currently in ICU and his right leg had to be amputated. Later today he is undergoing evaluations and surgery on his left leg.
Bernard father of four (4) has a long road to recovery ahead of him. Due to the accident Bernard will be out of work and will need extensive medical interventions. We are hoping to raise funds to support the family during this time.
