Hey guys! As many of you know, I am currently attending a Slavic Missionary Bible School, and this June i have the opportunity to go to Colombia on a missions trip for a month.

In mark 16:15 Jesus says to ‘go and preach to all nations’ and in matthew 28:19 we are told to ‘go and make disciples’.

So, in early June, my team and I will be flying to Medellin, Colombia to do exactly that. We will be serving specifically at a local rehabilitation base called “City of Refuge”, where we will be working with women in the recovery program, men’s rehab and children’s ministry. Also, we will help out with work projects/construction, refugee feeding programs, english classes and visit homes of the elderly.

Our team will also have the opportunity to partake in street evangelism and ‘Bronx Ministry’. Bronx ministry is where we will be going to a place called ‘Hell Street’, which are streets overrun with drug addicts (who live there, and are in constant substance abuse). We will be handing out water and food as well as evangelising and praying for them.

A group of high school students from Jacksonville will join us for a week in Colombia. We will have the privilege of mentoring them and serving with them. These students do not come from Christian families, and do not know much about God. We are praying that each and every single one of them, through this trip, will be able to hear the gospel, and surrender their lives to God. We are hoping that for them, this trip will be a life changing and foundational trip.

Despite all the chaos that is going on in the world right now, especially the war in Ukraine, the gospel still needs to be preached to ALL nations, and Colombia is in desperate need of hearing the TRUE gospel.
