Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

With a heavy heart, I'm reaching out to ask for your support for my cousin Melinda, who was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer at just 28 years old. She just started chemo this week. This shocking diagnosis has turned her world upside down, and as she begins this difficult fight, she is facing overwhelming medical expenses with limited financial resources.

Melinda is kind, hardworking, and full of life. She has played a huge part in my children's lives, and we all love her dearly. Melinda needs our help. The journey ahead includes six rounds of chemotherapy, surgery and ongoing treatments, which come with significant costs—not to mention everyday living expenses while she focuses on healing. She has been in so much pain that she has not been able to work since the beginning of this year.

Unfortunately, like many young adults, Melinda was not financially prepared for such a life-altering illness. The stress of medical bills, travel to treatments, and lost income is a burden no one should have to bear alone. That’s why we’re coming together to support her through this battle.
