The Gibson Davis reunions have been in effect since 1988. Pioneered by Edward "Boo" Gibson after writing a book that chronicled the history of the Gibson and Davis families. This 3-4 day event is hosted by one of the three main family branches, from Baton Rouge Louisiana, Oakland California, and Chicago Illinois. These events happen every two years.
2018 is the year the host family is the Chicago chapter. The reunion consists of a Welcome Meet and Greet, Banquet, Picnic, and Sunday church/wrap up. We are asking for donations to help defray some of the costs of securing venues, catering, transportation to and from the hotel for events, awards and gifts.
This family is appreciative for any monies donated to put on this fabulous event.
