Hi, my name is Alex Austin, I am Adam's wife.

On June 16th, 2025 my husband Adam was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) and is currently receiving treatment at Massachusetts General Hospital. He went to the ER for what we thought was a relatively minor issue...to get this news was shocking to say the very least.

Unfortunately Adam does not have health insurance..on top of that, family will need to drive back and forth from Maine to Boston, MA. With this diagnosis they also found an abscess that will need to be surgically removed.

Suffice to say, we will be receiving thousands and thousands in bills. Including the initial visit and stay at MaineGeneral hospital. Any donated funds will go towards: transportation, housing, medical expenses, meals etc. These small costs will add up over time and anything will help.

I really hate to ask for donations but it would make this incredibly stressful situation a little bit less. Thank you so very much.
