I'm not sure if you've ever met my mom but anyone who knows her can tell you she is the most caring and giving person you could ever meet. Her love radiates through her whole body and she would give anyone the shirt off her back.

Sadly she was severely beaten by her son late Saturday evening and she is currently in the hospital recovering.  Luckily she is now stable and alert.

However she has many injuries including 3 broken ribs, a subdural brain bleed, broken nose, stitches, her neck was in a collar until yesterday and she will need to have plastic surgery replace her eye socket.

We aren't sure how much time she will need off of work at this time, however we are working with her employer to see what they can do for her during her time off.  She does have insurance however we all know that doesn't cover everything,  and she will be off work and need to still pay bills, and she is in need of a new bed as it was destroyed in the attack. 

Her recovery is starting to speed up and they are hoping to release her from the hospital soon. She will be staying with me a while so I can help her recover and feel the safety she desperately needs to feel right now.

I know financially it is a hard time for some right now, however if you have anything to give, even if you may think it's not much it would be greatly appreciated.  If you can't financially help we understand and just ask for prayers for healing, and strength both physically and mentally for my mom.

We are honestly unsure of how much to ask at this time so we may edit it however if we were to exceed what she needs ( and we all know she would never take more then she needs) we will be donating the money to The Other Way Ministries.
