In Loving Memory of Jethro: Celebrating His Life and Legacy

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Jethro. Born in the Netherlands, Jethro entered the world through a normal delivery, bringing joy and hope to our family. At the tender age of one, our brave boy was diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anaemia, a condition that requires specialist care throughout one's life.

Despite the challenges, Jethro's spirit remained unbroken. At the age of five, our family moved to England, where Jethro continued to shine despite his periodic hospital admissions and countless medical appointments. His resilience was nothing short of inspiring. He excelled in his education, from primary school through to high school, sixth form, and ultimately university.

Jethro's journey was marked by an unyielding determination to make a difference. His dream was to support children suffering from Sickle Cell Anaemia in both Africa and the UK, providing them with the care and hope they so desperately need. Tragically, this cruel condition took him from us too soon, but his dream and mission must live on. This is the beginning of a foundation called "Jethro's Wish".
