On June 22, 2018, we received news that our Beloved Theresa was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast and Lymph Node Cancer.  Theresa is a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Friend, Aunt, Daughter, Elder, and Sister (well, Cousin, but she’s more like a Sister).

In addition to being diagnosed with this HORRIFIC disease, a few days before the diagnosis, Theresa’s employer of over three years changed her job status from salary to hourly with no paid leave.  Since her diagnosis, Theresa has spent 3-5 days a week at doctor appointments with copays between 100-200 dollars per visit.  She has missed a lot of work with no pay because of her doctor appointments. Her visits include receiving MRI's, bone scans, CT scans, echocardiogram, biopsies,  and recent port insert. Besides breast cancer, the doctors have found other possible cancers in her. 
 
Our Prayer is that Theresa will be able to concentrate on getting well, without wondering how she’s going to take care of her family and pay copays while continuing treatment. Not to mention paying her mortgage, utilities, and other bills/cost.  Theresa’s husband, Eddie contributes as best he can, however, he is legally blind and can’t work. 

We recognize that it takes a village to fight cancer! It's time for our community to Pray for healing,  Fight the spirit of cancer, and  Win the fight, as the Bible declares that we are victorious!
