Support for Sierra
Donation protected
My dear friend Sierra needs some support.
She has been sick with inadequate healthcare for several years. Recently her symptoms have flared up to a debilitating degree.
It's been tough, some days impossible, to work well and focus when she is in great pain. Under poor medical care, she came close to death last month, and it was really scary.
Sierra is seeking better medical providers and alternative supports, and hopefully they can monitor her better, listen to her, and she can have better results. It's possible she will need to travel out of state to find the treatment she needs.
The best scenario will be that during the next 4ish months, she can find a provider to perform the treatment she needs, recover, and be healthy and able to care for herself fully.
In the meantime, Sierra needs financial help to take care of herself, pay her bills, cover basic needs, and reduce stress during this time.
Our values are that community members care for each other. We come together in support when someone else needs something, and resources are stewarded together. We're hoping the people who care for Sierra can help her get through the next 4-6 months.
