For those that may know this past year Sarah has been very cautious about her health.

On October 30th Sarah thought she had a pinched nerve in her neck. It had been bothering her so she went into the chiropractor to get relief. Wednesday night at work she was losing feeling in her face and didn’t feel right. Thursday she went to tria to have them take a look but insurance wouldn’t take her. She then went to her primary and he treated her for nerve pain. After that she had a constant headache, but it was only on the left side. Friday she had to leave work early and headed into the ER. As she got there she started getting extremely dizzy and had worsening pain.

She had gotten a CT and it shows she had 3 minor strokes which was caused by her smaller arteries being dissected. They said the arteries are more narrow than most so most like cut off the blood flow for a bit of time. She is so so so lucky it was minor and not worse!

The pain is constant that’s why they are keeping her for monitoring, and to make sure she doesn’t have another stroke. They believe they should heal with time but headaches will be constant while it heals.

They do not believe the stroke and seizures are related at this time. But with all this going on Sarah has had to miss work and has been in the hospital. As well as when she gets out she will be on some restrictions. Sarah has the kindest heart!! Let’s help her not stress during her recovery!
