Robotics World Championship

The Ravenwood Raptor Robotics team 57249A is excited to be going to World Finals for the first time!  They will hit the world stage as they compete in both the VEX JROTC National Championship and the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas in early May.   This team is the first ever to qualify for both events.

BUT they need help to make it to DALLAS!

Raptor Robotics is fundraising to cover competition fees, travel costs, meals, and robotics equipment.

Team 57249A (comprised of Mark Bell, Adwit Satyawadi, and Connor Tasik) is proud to have earned several awards this year.  At the State Championship Finals held in March, they won three prestigious awards of Tournament Semifinalist, Build Award, and the Sportsmanship Award.  This meant they had the best-built robot in the State of Tennessee!  Additionally, during the tournament season, they also won two Excellence Awards and a Skills Award.

These students have been dedicated all year, meeting after school and on their own time almost daily (including weekends) since last summer. They have built an amazing robot which requires understanding electronics, programming, mechanical systems, animation, 3D CAD, computer-aided machining, web design, and materials fabrication.  To be competitive, they had to design, build, and program a robot using VEX V5, that could quickly and efficiently solve specific challenges in the 2021-2022 VEX Robotics Competition game, Tipping Point.
