Despite our best efforts we have hit a wall in stability. Last month we barely paid our rent and have now back logged a lot of necessary bills, without the resources to pay rent again this month.

We are asking for assistance with rent so we do not lose our long sought for, and hard work earned apartment thanks to scheduling issues with my husband’s work. We have 2 children, almost 3 and 13, who deserve a stable home.

I am in contact with help, but nothing is immediate and as our lease wasn’t renewed we are risking immediate eviction for non-rent payment.

Our rent is $1950 and if we don’t pay it on the 4th we receive a late fee of $195.

Other bills we have not been able to pay: Car insurance (needed to maintain our jobs)

Phone Bill (needed to maintain jobs) Electricity

Internet (needed to maintain jobs)

This month is the last month we should have trouble. This is a culmination of months of less work than required to maintain our finances, without the expected month off from my main employment. We’d have been ok had my husband had consistent work and wasn’t sent home or asked not to come in for half his shifts for 6 months prior.

We both work 2 jobs, and due to my own health issues absolutely need to stay in our apartment. This home was long sought and losing it at this time would be more than devastating.
