My daughter Jenny, along with my granddaughter Vida (9) and boyfriend suffered a sudden loss and uprooting when their home in Florida flooded with 3 feet of water from Hurricane Helene, making it uninhabitable and losing belongings. We are so incredibly thankful they were able to get to safety and are physically unscathed.

Many of you have been reaching out asking how you can help - thank you so much for your care, concern, and prayers! They are not ones to ask for any assistance, so I created a GoFundMe to show Jenny and her family some love & support, and help with storm recovery during this sudden life disruption.

Funds will be used to replenish personal belongings and help with the cost of an unexpected move. She has expressed her wish to donate anything excess to other families in the area that are in need after Hurricane Helene as well.
