On December 9th, 2025, my stepdad was involved in a tragic accident. For personal reasons, our family is not ready to discuss details surrounding this quite yet. He’s currently in critical but stable condition.

I’m setting up this GoFundMe to help my mom with upcoming bills, mortgage payments, groceries, just anything to relieve stress for her and any potential medical bills or surgeries Jeff will have in the coming days, weeks, months, or even years.

If donating isn’t possible, we’re just asking if you can please keep him and our family in your prayers. It feels like we’re missing the middle piece of our puzzle right now.

Update: previously we had decided not to share what happened to Jeff but given he’s now home and doing significantly better we thought it was time. On December 9th, Jeff was shot by his father. We won’t go into the legal details of this but given the nature of what happened, it was extremely traumatic to himself and the family. I know it’s a long awaited update but it didn’t feel necessary to share with the world at the time.
