Support Jamaican Families Affected by Melissa

In the wake of Melissa a category 5 hurricane, many communities across Jamaica have been left devastated. Homes have been damaged or destroyed, roads are blocked, and families are struggling to access food, clean water, and other essentials. The storm has left countless people without shelter or basic supplies, and the road to recovery will be long.
Shantel Farquharson and Jodian Solomon-Gordon created this fundraiser because we believe we can come together to make a difference. We are born and raised in the breadbasket parish of St. Elizabeth. Every dollar donated will go directly toward helping families rebuild their lives: providing food, clothing, medical supplies, and support for those who have lost so much.
Jamaicans are strong and resilient, but in times like this, we need each other more than ever. Whether you’re in Jamaica or abroad, your support can bring hope and relief to people who urgently need it.
Here’s how your donation can help:
$10–$25: Provides meals and clean water for a family in need
$50–$100: Helps replace essential items like bedding, clothing, and toiletries
$250+: Supports rebuilding efforts for damaged homes and shelters
No amount is too small — every act of kindness adds up. If you’re not able to donate, please consider sharing this page with your friends, family, and social networks. Awareness and compassion go a long way.
Let’s stand together for Jamaica and help those affected by Melissa find strength, hope, and stability again.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and support.
